In the fifth round of the A1, Modena is on the road at Piacenza in what represents a fascinating encounter against one of the best teams of the league. Coach assistant Andrea Tomasini, who substituted Andrea Giani while he was in Holyoke to enter in the Volleyball Hall of Fame, said: “It’s been a week in which we worked well: the team was focused and showed further signs of being a strong group, coherent and concentrated. The boys help me to carry out the training sessions and I led them in the preparation for the Piacenza game. Piacenza is a very strong team: they have individual quality and a well organised team. It’s above all a chameleon type of team give that it can line up various starting six using all the players”.
