Ricardo returned home in Crema yesterday after undergoing surgery for an Achilles injury.
“The operation went perfectly well – said vice president Sante Barbati – even though the conditions of the tendons broken during the fourth set of the Goia del Colle game was rather critical”.
The Sport Director, Michele Rota, added “Ricardo has a whole career ahead, that’s why he’ll have to work hard to get back to fitness and get back to be the great player that we got to know. Then, if we were to have him back before the end of the championship, we’d be extremely happy: Ricky just like Iacopo Botto, doesn’t deserve this bad luck”.
