The 26 year old brasilian Riad Garcia Piers Ribeiro, known as “Riad”, is Itas Diatec Trentino’s new middle blocker for the next two seasons.
An explosive middle blocker, full of qualities, Riad was strongly wanted by coach Radostin Stoychev, impressed by what he showed in the last season with Andreoli Latina.
The athelet won the pre juniores world championships in 1998 and the junior ones in 2001 with the Brasilian shirt and he is currently part of the national team, last summer he conquered the second place in the American Cup with Bernardinho’s team.
