A day to remember for Isernia tomorrow, partecipating to the Italian Cup’s quarter finals for the first time ever. Olio Pignatelli Isernia will meet Loreto at 20.30.
Needless to say that there is great anticipation at the Club. An emotion that comes thorugh Gianni Cimorelli’s words (pres. of the Club’s sponsor): “When we decided to invest in volleyball we did it to put our company forward, the results, despite some stops, are paying us back. The partecipation in the Italian Cup represents an historical event for the whole region, which makes us proud”.
The evening of the presentation I said this championship was a starting point to develop a bigger project; so the partecipation to the Italian Cup is part of this bigger project and if we will go thorugh we will be a candidate to host the Final Four, another event which will put our Club, the sponsor and the region in the spotlight”.
The Club’s euphoria stays well away from the teams as Chiovini confirms: “The Cup is an important appointment, it would be nice to go through to the next phase and play in the Final Four, but this should not take our minds off the champiosnhip”.
Isernia is playing in Forli on saturday.
