Marmi Lanza grabs another victory in the 17th round of the Regular Season in A2 TIM, beating Loreto for 3-0 and goes home with the full jackpot and two points ahead of Vibo Valentia.
The team will be hosting MAre&Volley Forli at PalaOlimpia on sunday the 20th at 18th and Stilcasa Salento d’amare Taviano at the same time on the 27th.
Captain Massimo Botti, a guest on the TV programme “Filo Diretto” today, has highlighted yesterday’s beautiful performance: “We all wanted to do well in such difficult grounds. Loreto has great individualities but we played with determination and eagerness to win, that is how we conducted a match we prepared really well. I would compliment ourselves”.
Analysing the standings the captain observes how “Vibo is the only team that is keeping up with us” and he adds: “Our strength is the fact we managed to do well despite the absences, our coach obly needs to choose between a whole group of great players now. The group is Vibo’s winning formula too though!”
Looking at the next match against Forli, he observes: “We are not unbeatable, we always need to go on court to give our best, Forli is a great team and they will want to do well, then we have Taviano and Crema but we will think about that later”.
