With 2007 and the first leg behind us it is time to draw the first report in Taviano. Let’s chat with Massimo Dagioni:
“We have played a good first leg – he says – We started with the wrong foot at the very beginning then we recovered and we started to express our game”. Shame about the injuries….”Injuries mess the whole thing up but it is a natural occurence in sport. They happened when we started doing well, they affected the two consecutive away matches against Bassano and Santa Croce especially, where I would have liked to arrive with a healthy team”.
Anyway, despite those two consecutive stops, the first leg has given Taviano a good place in the standings, a sign that Dagioni likes it around here….”I have found the enviroment I had left here in 2004/2005. I love it here, teh enviroment is great, the Club is well prepared so there are the conditions to do well.
With regards to the results I believe I achieved the Italian Cup and some important victories that allowed us to rise the passion around here, given last year’s poor season”.
“Let’s hope the best is still to come. The first leg said important things about us, but it will have to become a starting point rather than the arrival.
The main thing is to keep our guards up. This year, the championship is very difficult and we need to be prepared reactive all the time, sunday after sunday”.
