Exciting match against Spoleto that leaves amongst applauses
Castellana Grotte is back to victory using all the team’s psycological and physical resources, taming Spoleto at the end of an exhausting tie break.
A success that rounds many corners for the team due to the negative results obtained in the past few weeks but which seem more and more distant. The great determination and the willingness to “never give up”, were vital in a match that could have ended differently.
The Brasilian diagonla comments on the match:
“It went really well, animportant attitude test for our team that would have deserved a bit more from the previous matches. We were coming from a negative trend which took our confidence away, the absences made a difference too. we have been good at winning a difficult match which at some point was not going so well for us”.
Coach Franco Castiglia is more or less on the same wave lentgh:
“After the first set we have had to come back with the same attitude but we found it difficult to hold them back and confirm our game in attack.
Shame for our naivety in the fourth set otherwise we would have done a fantastic recovery. We still need to work hard but I would say this victory was very important. Next week we will have Sabo and we are waiting for Rafa’s return which will certainly give the team more tightness and peace of mind”.
