Federvolley has published to CEV today the list of players to be used in the Olympics pre-qualifying matches that will be played in Catania on the 28th of November and on the 2nd of December 2007.

Mauro Gavotto, Andrea Sala and Loris Manià are on the list. It is a novely for Loris Manià, libero:

“I did not expect to be called, it was a surprise and I am very happy. I will do my best to use all the opportunities I will be given. I hope I will do as well as I have done so far and even better. When I arrived in Montichiari my first goal was to play in A1 in the starting six and the national team was only in my dreams… today I am happy to have proven what I am worth and to have been given this chance. I still have to improve in many things because you never stop learning.
We are all doing well in Montichiari and this is the proof of it. We have lost some points along the way but we have gained others against stronger opponents. Now I have to think about thursday against Cuneo, it will be hard but we are ready”.
