“It was a good match, very exiting, intense and technically good” says coach Michele Rota.
“We did well recovering a huge gap in the 3rd set. The whole team did well, you could tell all the boys wanted to show they could play a strong opponent. The digging Caprotti-Jankovic worked well; we did a great job in the blocking-digging department. Cazzaniga did his usual show serving and attacking: simply unstoppable”.
The director praises Botto and the bench:” Jacopo Botto, thrown in the middle in the third set, performed a vital block for the match. A great contribution despite the shopr appearance.
This says a lot about our bench, with Botto let’s remember Nonne, Schwarz, Egeste and Aiello, I hope they will all be able to show what they can do”.
Back to the starting six:”Carletti had a good distribution while Caldeira scored heavy points. Held attacking and Finazzi blocking gave a huge contribution to the victory of the 1st and 3rd sets. As usual it is the team who wins and loses so the whole jack pot is deserved by everyone”.
Rota also praises the coaches Fant and Camperi.
Finally:”Now we are facing a very hard match on paper against Marmi Lanza Verona. Thank God volleyball can never be taken for granted and I am sure the boys will sell their soul to win, supported by their supporters who will be come in big numbers”.
