Stefano Santuz (director Antonveneta Padova):” It was a very important victory in a very difficult court. Depite our mistakes in the first set (10 wrong serves) we managed to catch up straight away. I am very happy about our blocks (10 points) and Perazzolo’s performance (6 aces) together with Platenik’s who is in constant growth. We won all the long plays ad demonstrated we are a tight team. Now we need to concentrate on another important ghallenge with Taranto”.
Bruno Bagnoli (coach Antonveneta Padova):” I dedicate this victory to my staff because we managed to prepare the boys well after such an importan match with Roma. We made a few mistakes in the first match but we attacked well, confirming the team’s attitude from the beginning.
We won with our hearts and determination. As in the previous match, blocking was one of our strenghts. We are good at serving and Perazzolo demonstrated in what a good shape he is.
The team is training hard and is still growing but we need to keep our concentration high”.
