After the World Championship earned last 2nd of december in Czestochowa, Itas Trentino lifted another cup, by winning CEV Cup defeating in the final Galatasaray Istanbul, winning for the first time the second most important tournament in Europe.
At Burhan Felek Voleybol Salonu in Istanbul Angelo Lorenzetti’s team completed the masterpiece started last week at BLM Group Arena in Trento for CEV Cup Final Game 1, by defeating Galatasaray in Turkey at tie break. After being down 0-2, Trento was ablet to react in this troubled moment, by winning third and fourth sets both 25-16, avoiding the dangerous golden set in the hostile environment of Istanbul. Tied the game and earned the cup, Angelo Lorenzetti’s team won easily also the tie break 15-5, concluding undefeated the european season, World Championships and CEV Cup.
Great performance for the World Champs, now the team will celebrate the win and at the same time will need to be focused for the upcoming Credem Banca Superleague Playoffs.
