Antonveneta Padova:
A great revival, but most of all an afternoon with old friends to remember a great champion not longer with us. This is the first “Memorial Yuri Sapega” – organized by Carlo Calgaro and by Sempre Volley with the help of Serie A Volleyball League – that will be played on Saturday the 9th of June at the PalaBernhardsson of Padova, where Sapega played and coached.
Three teams will play: Veterans National team, a team called “All Star-Friends of Yuri” and a team formed by ex Russian champions. Presen at the event also “Volley For World”, the charity assosiation made by volleyball lovers with the intent of helping the people that are in need.
Some of the champions presents are: Fomin, Olikhver, Ermishin, Antonov, Gordienko, Stanislav Shevchenko, Alexander Yaremenko. For the italians the Veterans coached by Carmelo Pittera are: Galli, Babini, Errichiello, Venturi, Bertoli, Cantagalli, Martinelli, Zorzi, Gardini, Vullo, Bracci & Lucchetta.
