Tomorrow there will be the last match of the Serie A1 TIM regular season. Itas Diatec Trentino will play at the PalaTrento against Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari already sure to take part to the playoff.
ITAS DIATEC TRENTINO The victory against Latina and the accesst ot he playoff have given a little bit of serenity to the team. The boys can now play the last match of the season with calm and confidence.
Coach Radamès Lattari has delcared: “For us it will be a matc like the others. We achieved the goal of reaching the playoff but now we can improve our position in the standing. We will play at our best to to that and because we don’t want to be part of the decision about the last available playoff spot between Montichiari & Taranto. Any team we will have to face in the playoff quarter finals will give us a very tough round: Roma, Cuneo, Treviso or Piacenza. No difference. We just have to do our best and face the match with the right attitude and the spirit we put in the match against Latina.”.
Tomorrow night all the boys will be at the coach disposal with also the recovery of Andrea Segnalini out for an eye injury.
THE OPPONENTS: The last results against Taranto (3-2 victory at the PalaGeorge) and Vibo (loss 3-1) give now to Montichiari really few chances to be part of the playoff. To obtain the access the boys coached by Velasco must win against Trento 3-0 or 3-1 and hope that Taranto will not gather any point in its match againt Verona.
PREVIOUS MATCHES: 14 matches alreay played by the two teams. Trento has won 9 matches and Montichiari 5.
STARTING SIXS: Trento will play with the same players of the previous match with Meoni setter, Nascimento opposite, Gallotta & Winiarski spikers, Heller and Hübner middleblcoers, Bari libero.
Julio Velasco answers with Tiberti setter, Gavotto opposite, Popp and Meszaros (or De La Fuente) spikers, Sala and Jeroncic middleblockers, Rinaldi libero.
