The formula of the Italian Cup A2 TIM 2009-10 remains unchanged. The eight best classified teams halfway through the regular season will fight for the 13th edition of the Italian Cup of this division. Last year, it coincided with the Final Four of the A1 Cup as Latina lift aloft its first trophy in history in front of almost 8.000 spectators. The final against Gioia del Colle was tight all the way. At the end of four exciting sets, Giombini and co were able to add the name of the club amongst the winners of this competition.
The ties will be played in one singled game hosted by the best classified teams in the quarter finals (13 January) and semi finals (20 January). The two finalists will meet on 31 January. The venue is still to be decided.
