Fiorese Spa Bassano:
Two weeks of hard work thanks to the stop of the championsnhip for the TIM Cup A2, two weeks to get ready for a very important and delicate match in order to reach the play off. Fiorese confidence is back thanks especially to the beautiful victory against Modugno. Dalla Fina and his boys will start back from that victory hoping that it will be only the first one of a long strip. The match against Taviano, currently at the 7th position of the standing, willl be litteraly a battle to define the most probably position of the standing for the play off. If Bassano will lose against Taviano the path to reach the play off will be really long and hard.
In the yesterday friendly match against Antonveneta Padova, Fiorese did lose 3-0, and the match ended at the end with the funny score of 4-1. Losing is never a nice thing but Padova played with all the best players and Fiorese played a decent match, confirming that the team is improving since the match against Modugno. Dalla Fina declared at the end of the match: “I am very satisfied: we played pretty well and we are improving a lot our block-defense game, that has lately been our weak point. We did suffer a lot in passing, where we were doing pretty good lately, but I have to say that they are a Serie A1 team and of course their serves are much better than ours. But I also have to say that we did play pretty well in attack: setters and spikers have finally found their game and I am very happy about it!”.
