It seemed like another bad night for Bassano with Julius Sabo out for a hand injury. Everyone was afraid of the match because for the first time during this season, Bassano was playing to avoid relegation, after the black winter with only 8 points in 10 matches.
All the eyes for the players to try to get the attitude and the thoughts.
The match starts and the score keeps staying tight until the second time out 15-16. Only at the end of the set the home team is able to score the crucial break that gives the set to Bassano with the score 25-23.
In the second set Bassano tries to stay in front bust the hosted team does not give up and after the first time out the score is 8-6 and after the second is 17-16. But also this time after the second time out is Bassano able to score the crucial break and the set goes to Bassano’s hands with the score of 25-22.
In the third set Dalla Libera and teammates finally played without any kind of fear and this time the crucial break for Bassano goes in pretty soon and score flies to 17-13. Nuzzo & Olteanu tries a reaction but the set is in Bassano hands that close it pretty easilly.
It is very nice to remember the end of the match with the boys hugging together in the centre of the court before thanking the crowd for being always there for them.
