More than 2000 people at PalaValentia for this big match versus one of the favourite teams from the final win, Sir Safety Conad Perugia. Lorenzo Bernardi’s team put on court all their strength, by winning easily first set 25-13, with a great Alexander Atanasijevic (later Mvp of the game) and Ivan Zaytsev. In the second Lorenzo Tubertini’s team fought back fighting all set long, with Benjamin Patch and Fracois Lecat in great shape in the second, but fell short in the crunch time, thanks to a couple of good plays by Marko Podrascanin. Perugia won 25-23 the second, and the third was on the same way, on the edge and balanced until the crunch time. After the tie at 18, Tonno Callipo took a lead on 21-20, but Perugia stayed focused, and on 24-23 Atanasijevic punished the previous mistake of Coscione and put on the ground the 25th point for set and match. 14 points in the end for Atanasijevic.
