Revivre Milano will be back home from tough road trip in Trento with 2 precious points, after the tie break win over Diatec Trentino. Last season at PalaTrento Angelo Lorenzetti’s team has been undefeated until the very last home game of the season, in the Playoff final versus Cucine Lube Civitanova. This loss at PalaTrento is the third consecutive loss for Diatec in this season, included the two losses in Del Monte Supercup last weekend in Civitanova. Lorenzetti did not put on the court Uros Kovacevic (in rest after some little physical trouble), but Milan totally deserved this win, playing without fear, putting on the court 11 aces, drove by an outstanding performance of dutchman Nimir Adbel-Aziz (logical MVP), who put on the ground 26 points. Trento will have time to come back and rabbing the first win of the seasson, but Milano ssems to be very strong, in this season.
MVP: Abdel-Aziz (Revivre Milano)
Simone Giannelli (Diatec Trentino): “The crazy end of third set decided the game, in my opinion. Milano was great, we should be better in side out, taking also advange of the chances we had to pur on the ground some breaks. Let’s start again, from our good performance in fourth set”.
Gianluca Galassi (Revivre Milano): “After the elimination from Del Monte Italian Cup, we wante to fight back, and this was the best way to do it. It was very important for us to come back in Milano with a win, we are very happy”.
