Marmi Lanza Verona: Società BluvolleyVerona has hired Ungarian spiker Peter Veres after exchange spiker Lorenzo Bernardi with Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari. The player has arrived in Verona after playing the first part of the season with Acqua Paradiso Gabeca Montichiari.
Peter Veres has been officially presented today to the press, presents also President Cesare Albertini and coach Angelo Lorenzetti.
Veres started his carreer in 1998 with hungarian team Nyiregyhaza where he won the championship. The player has arrived in Italy and played with Ferrara and Trieste. Then one season in Spain with Unicaja Almeria where he won the Championship in 2005. At the end of season 2005/06 he played in Qatar before arriving in Padova and then Montichiari.
200cm tall he had his first training session today with this new teammates at the PalaOlimpia after the official presentation.
His first words: “I am happy to be here in Verona. Now it is important for me to play well to help the boys and to help Marmi Lanza, I know very well Boninfante & Howard, while I played a lot of times against Marlon”.
TOMORROW SURGERY FOR RAMON GATO
Ramon Gato will receive tomorrow morning the needed surgery due to the the injury got last Sunday in the match against Prisma Taranto.
