Important victory for Fiorese Spa Bassano that once again can regret not being able to close the match before and to go home with 3 points. Regrets especially for the third set in which, after making un amazing recovery from 19-24 to 24-24, Bassano throw away a couple of chances to close the whole match in advance. But it is also true that Fiorese did risk to lose also the tiebreak at the end won only with the score of 19-17. So at the end of the day Fiorese is pretty happy and satisfied for the two point obtained in order to reach the final playoff.
It has been a match of not very high quality level with many mistakes in each side, but in the same time it has been a match full of twistings and emotions and for sure the 1800 people arrived at the arena did not get bored. Loreto showed a good power with Rodrigues and a great Pistovic, while Peda did not play the best of his mataches. Applauses also for two ex Bassano players: Visentin, that play a beautyful match and Pesenti that, beside the first two sets, plays a great defense match. For Fiorese it is important to point out the usual apport with his usual determination for Stefano Moro, Guarise played an amazing match (65% in attack, 3 blocks, 1 aces and 15 points) but most of all Desiderio played a huge match with 82% of positivity and defended really well, then 3 blocks and 1 ace for Daniele that closed the match with 18 points. Bassano did pass pretty well (67%), and attacked not too badly (49%) and, despite 20 errors, has served very well creating huge problems to Loreto passing.
