Filippo Lanza is UnipolSai Playoffs Semifinals MVP. Diatec Trentino’s captain was Mvp in Game 3 and Game 5, with 31 total points, 26 attacks, 6 aces and 2 blocks. Lanza will lift the award next thirsday 4th may before the start of Superleague Final Game 2 at PalaTrento versus Cucine Lube Civitanova.

Monini Spoleto once again confirmed to be a tough opponent for Bcc Castellana Grotte, after the third win in a row gained versus Giuseppe Lorizio’s team. Riccardo Provvedi’s team stepped up in Game 1, showing a great mental strength. BCC Castellana Grotte never give up, they showed in Playoff Promozione semifinals versus Caloni Agnelli Bergamo, down 0-2 in the series, and coming back until the crucial Game 5 win, clinching the Big Final spot winning the series 3-2. Bcc is confindent they can come back in the series, but they will need to be focused starting from upcoming Game 2 in Spoleto.
