Will be Calzedonia Verona, together with Lega Pallavolo Serie A, to host the Playoff Challenge Final Four, the event which will set the fifth place in the Superleague 2016/2017, and will give the chance to the winner to participate to next season’s Challenge Cup.
At PalaOlimpia the semifinals will take place on Sunday 23rd april, and on monday 24th april the big final between the winners of the semifinals.
All the games will be broadcasted live on Lega Volley Channel.
In last season Playoff Challenge took place in Verona, with the final win of Lpr Piacenza, then recalled in Cev Cup.

Tomorrow saturday 15th april Diatec Trentino will play Cev Cup Final Game 2 in France, at Salle Robert Grenon in Tours, versus Tours VB already defeated 3-0 in Game 1 in Trento last wednesday.
The win in game 1 was already a great step toward the final win, but as everybody knows, never say never in volleyball, and Trento will need to be careful in Tours, they will need to keep high the focus all game long.
Saturday’s game will be the 340th game with Diatec Trentino’s jersey for Libero Massimo Colaci, overtaking former Trento’s Libero Andrea Bari with 339, looking forward to reach Emanuele Birarelli for the leadership of the games played with Trento
Tine Urnaut (Trentino Diatec): “It was important to have a clear win in Game 1, as we did last wednesday. In Tours will be difficult for sure, they will play in front of their fans, and we will need to be ready and preparred. We will do everything to lift the Cup and coming home with this trophy”.

Caloni Agnelli Bergamo is one of the most strong teams in this final part of the season, after a great Pool Promozione, Gianluca Graziosi’s team won also Semifinal Game 1 versus the favourite and leader of Pool Promozione standings, winning on their court, showing how much strong is Caloni Agenlli right now. BCC Castellana Grotte will need to react on the road, they lost the court advantage but they are still the best team of Pool Promozione, and they will play until the end with all their power, Game 2 in Bergamo.
Monini Spoleto clearly lost Game 1 far from the home turf PalaRota, suffering a bad 0-3 loss at PalaEstra versus one of the powerhouses of the Tournament. Riccardo Provvedi’s team showed their strength in Pool Promozione, and now they will need to step up again to tie the series. Emma Villas Siena lost 0-3 at PalaRota last 19th march versus Monini, so Paolo Tofoli’s team will need to be careful in playing on that turf, strong anyway after the lead in the series gained after Game 1 at PalaEstra.
