Calzedonia Verona is coming from two tie break wins in this Playoff Challenge Quarterfinals. Nikola Grbic’s team showed they arrived to the crunch time of the game most focused and determined. Now Verona can close the series on the home turf, clinching the Final Four Spot in Playoff Challenge. On the other hand Biosì Indexa Sora, for the first time at Playoff Challenge in their history, showed they can compete at this level, showing they belong to Superleague level of volleyball. Maurizio Colucci’s team will need to step up once again to stretch the series and to comeback in Sora for Game 4.
Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia will play at PalaValentia trying to stay in the series, after losing the first two games of Playoff Challenge Quarterfinals. Will be a no tomorrow game for Waldo Kantor’s team, after losing both Game 1 and 2 1-3. For Bunge Ravenna will be the first chance to clinch the semifinals spot, which could give the chance to Coach Soli’s team to reach Europe via Challenge Cup. Will be a very interesting game.
LPR Piacenza is in front 2-0 in Playoff Challenge Quarterfinals series, on tomorrow at PalaBanca will have the chance to clinch the semifinals’s spot. On sunday will take place at PalaBanca “Papi and Zlaty Day”, the ceremony of thanksgiving to Samuele Papi and Hristo Zlatanov who will retire at the end of this season, a ceremony with guests and video clips full of memories of these two great champions. Top Volley Latina eliminated Revivre Milano in Eighth Finals, but now will face a no tomorrow game, after losing the first two games of the series. Will be tough for Daniele Bagnoli’s team, to come back in this series.
Gi Group Monza is determined to take again the lead in the series, after last sunday’s loss in Puglia.
