Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia is already qualified, as hosting team, for Champions League Final Four next 29th and 30th april at PalaLottomatica in Roma. If Cucine Lube Civitanova and Azimut Modena will advance to the PlayOff 6, they will face each other, and the winner of those series will play versus Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia in first Semifinal of Champions League Final Four.
The first italian team who will play on tomorrow will be first place finisher in Pool B Cucine Lube Civitanova, at Atlas Arena in Łodz versus PGE Skra Belchatow at 18. Belchatow is second place finisher in Pool D behind Modena. These two teams faced each other last three seasons in a row. Two season ago Belchatow won the series, last season Lube won, advancing to the Final Four. Former players in Italy with Belchatow, Michal Winiarski (Trento 2006-2009), Nicolas Uriarte (Roma 2010-11), e bulgarian Nikolay Penchev (Piacenza 2011-2012), and above all former opposite with Lube 2013-2015, Bartosz Kurek.
300 km far from Atlas Arena in Łodz, first place finisher in Pool D Azimut Modena will play in Rzeszów on Asseco Resovia turf. Polish team was third in Pool B, qualified to PlayOff 12 as one of best thirds, 7 points behind leader Lube in Pool B. In Plusliga Asseco Resovia is in second place in the standings behind Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle (the team coached by Fefè De Giorgi, who will play in PlayOff 12 versus Belogorie Belgorod). Last game between Modena and Resovia was 22nd march 2008, when Pallavolo Modena coached by Andrea Giani won 2008 Challenge Cup at RCWS Podpromie in Rzeszow versus the home team.

After 14 days, Trentino Diatec and LPR Piacenza will face each other again in Cev Cup quarterfinals Game 2 after the Diatec Trentino clear road win at palaBanca in Game 1. The two teams had one week to prepare this challenge, after the Semifinal spot clinched by Trento by defeating Gi Group Monza in Quarterfinalas, and the loss in Game 2 of Quarterfinals for Lpr Piacenza, eliminated by Sir Safety Perugia. At PalaTrento on tomorrow at 20.30 Diatec will need to win one set to clinch the Cev Cup semifinals spot, after the 3-0 win on Piacenza’s turf. If Lpr will win 3-0 this upcoming Game 2, Trento and Piacenza will play the Golden Set, and the winner will advance to the semifinals.

After the road win in Mondovì Emma Villas Siena is second in standings 3 points behind BCC Castellana Grotte. Paolo Tofoli’s team will face a tough opponent at PalaEstra, Ginaluca Preziosi’s Caloni Agnelli Bergamo, one of the best teas in last part of the season. Bergamo comes from a good home win 3-1 versus Sigma Aversa, 1 point shy from the top three in the standings.
BCC Castellana Grotte is atop the standings with 35 points, after the win versus Civita Castellana. Giuseppe Lorizio’s team, with Cazzaniga who needs 19 attacks to 5500 in Serie A, wants to defeat VBC Mondovì, with 22 points in the standings, tied with Tuscania and Reggio Emilia. .
After the 3 sets loss in Reggio Emilia, Maury’s Italiana Assicurazioni Tuscania, with 22 points in Pool Promozione standings together with Conad Reggio Emilia and Vbc Mondovì, needs to go ahead for the 5th Viterbo’s derby in Serie A versus Ceramica Globo Civita Castellana, a tough team to play against. Civita Castellana is in eighth place in the standings with 20 points, in last place in playoffs bracket.
Kemas Lamipel S. Croce is in ninth place of Pool Promozione standings with 17 points, and will need a win to stay on track for the last playoff place. Lupi will play versus Conad Reggio Emilia, who won 3-2 at PalaBigi the first match between the two teams. Reggio Emilia is in sixth place with 22 points together with Tuscania and Mondovì, and will face as opponents former players Benaglia and Bonetti.
Sigma Aversa is in last place of the standings, outside playoffs, but aimed to colse in best way possibile the Pool in front of home fans at PalaJacazzi versus powerhouse Monini Spoleto, a team who is coming from a bad tie break loss in Santaq Croce versus Kemas Lamipel. Spoleto is in third place with 29 points, 6 behind leaders BCC Castellana Grotte.
