Right in the middle of a real tour de force with five games in the last seven days, Trentino played and comfortably won its fourth round postponed game against Latina. This has to be considered an exceptional result for Lorenzetti’s men who had only one day to prepare since they got out of their plane that brought them back from Brazil. Nelli scored 18 points at 55% (5 aces and 2 blocks) and was named MVP of the game. Antonov had an excellent performance too.

I think the team proved all its moral values as well as its physical strength on this game. It was not easy to come out with the necessary determination and focus to win like that. We did it and we’re very happy with the three points ».
Vincenzo Nacci (coach Top Volley Latina): “We could only keep up with their rhythm in the first set. Then we struggled to receive their serve, just like it happened against Civitanova and Modena. We have to focus on the next games now and we need to take points out of them. We wanted to hit the serve hard and avoid Colaci but we did not manage to do that ».
