Piacenza had the better of Molfetta at the tie-break and took two important points. Molfetta was outstanding in the first two sets of a game that seemed to be going one-way traffic. But Piacenza woke up in the third and fourth set before eventually clinching it by the minimum margin in the fifth. And that tie-break seemed in the hands of the hosts too. Never-ending battle between Milan and Vibo in Busto Arsizio (2 hours and 14 minutes). In the end, the game went to the visitors on a 15-11 tie-break. This is Vibo’s first win in the SuperLega after a difficult start to the championship. Milan easily took the first set before it became tighter. Vibo needed just one chance to seal the second and third set. But in the fourth they failed to convert the game ball at 23-24. They would eventually win it in the tie-break.
