REVIVRE MILANO: Milushev 16, Alletti 15, Sbertoli 3, Skrimov 26, Russomanno Dos Santos 4, Tosi (L), De Togni 1, Boninfante, Georgiev 6. DNP Gavenda, Rivan, Baranek, Burgsthaler, Marretta. Coach. Monti.

Big win for Milan who came back from Padova with all three points after hardly over an hour of play. Padova stumbled as it was denied the last point they needed to make sure of a playoffs participation. They could not stop Skrimov, named MVP of the game. Besides, they were too nervous, contrasting with Milan’s confidence.

Valerio Baldovin (coach Tonazzo Padova): “We did not underestimate our opponents. We struggled to contain their serve, but we put our heads down too easily and made mistakes we cannot and shouldn’t do. At one point, we managed to get back in the game but that was not enough. I hope to see my boys play their game in Modena, because tonight that was not positive”.

Aimone Alletti (Revire Milano): “At the end of the day, Padova’s target to reach the playoffs played in our favour. There was a good spirit and understanding between us, we played loose. Our beginning of season was not good: many injuries marred it but I’m glad we got back on track”.
