CMC Romagna took two of the three points at stake in Latina. This is its four consecutive tie-break after the ones against Perugia, Trento and Piacenza, and Romagna won its last three. Both teams were with players not hundred percent and had ups and downs. Before the start of the game, Latina’s outside hitter Simon Hirsch received the January MVP award from the Italian Volleyball League.

Maurice Torres (CMC Romagna): “Good game on the serve, at the net and in attack from both teams. But in the end we took our opportunity. Fourth tie-break in a row and so much will to take points. Our goal is to get into the playoffs, but we have to think one game at a time”.
Andrea Mattei (Ninfa Latina): “We really wanted to get a result but we did not manage to express this will all game long. Some of us were physically not in great shape. It’s still all very tight, we have to get on court with more fighting spirit and we have to get everybody back to full fitness”.
