The 8 teams that will participate into the Italian Cup are known with a game to spare. However, the match-ups of the quarter-finals remain to be defined. The first place will either be Modena or Civitanova. Trento, Verona and Perugia will play for third place. Right now Molfetta, Latina and Monza occupy position 6 to 8. Molfetta cannot move up, while both Latina and Monza can leapfrog the team in front.
FORMULA
The quarter-finals will be played with home and away game. The best classified teams will host the return leg. If there was to be one win each and with the same number of points, a golden set to 15 will be played.
The four winning teams will qualify for the Final Four to take place on February 6-7.
