The Block Devils had the better of Monza in straight sets. The three points means they momentarily move up to third in the table ahead of tomorrow and Thursday’s games. De Cecco was extremely inspired and was named MVP at the end of a game he filled with spectacular plays. Birarelli shined too with 85% in attack and 13 points, Kaliberda registered 14 at 67%. Monza played excellent volleyball for the most part but lacked the necessary consistency to take the second, which was the key moment of the game.
Simone Buti (Sir Safety Conad Perugia): “When you win, it’s always nice to look back at the good things done. A 3-0 at home like that after the defeat against Civitanova was exactly what we needed.
