Lega supports World Diabetes Day
During the league games to be played from November 13 to November 17, the Italian Volleyball League will show its support to the World Diabetes Day, which was launched in 1991 to raise awareness on Diabetes, on its prevention and management. The World Diabetes Day is celebrated on November 14 and hundredth of events will be held in over 500 Italian cities.

Verona had the perfect start in Europe. In front of over 2000 fans, the Italians got rid of Fonte Bastardo Azores in just over an hour. The Portuguese side was dominated in every area of the game, it was always evident Verona would come out on top. The squad will head to Portugal for the return game on Monday right after its fifth round game against Piacenza on Sunday 15.
