Molfetta had the better of CMC Romagna on a 3-0 score on Tuesday night. An excellent season debut, which had brought a good point from Modena in the opening round. It was not an easy game and the last set was especially tough. Molfetta obtained their victory thanks to some good blocking (11 total and 6 from Candellaro) and their effective attack: the MVP Hernandez had 58% and Randazzo 71%, while the whole of the Romagna team averaged 35%.

Daniele De Pandis (Exprivia Molfetta): “I am not surprised by this victory. We have been working for this, we were well prepared to play a good game at home. After our good outing in Modena, we couldn’t wait to play at home. But let’s keep our feet on the ground because we have to keep working as hard as we’ve done in the past two months”.

Maurice Torres (CMC Romagna): “Molfetta always plays at a different level at home, they really had a good game today, they played better than us. We have to do a better job when we have an advantage and we must be more focused in certain situations. Molfetta did very well at the net and in attack, and with the kind of percentages they had today it was impossible for us to win”.
