Net touches scrutinised
Technology at its best for the finals of this 2014-15 season. While the net touches of the Video Check had already been experimented in the Serie A2 Cup final four in Chieti, this will now be used for the first time in a league final. The Video check goes from 12 to 18 cameras with three additional on either side of the court. In order to ask to check the net touch, the coach will now have to show the usual “C” sign as well as indicate the net. The referee will have himself the right to check both the in-or-out balls (two calls) as well the net touches.
