In front of nearly three thousand supporters in Piacenza’s PalaBanca arena, Trento obtained a 3-0 victory. Piacenza was already out of the playoffs but played with pride, especially in the second set. Djuric made his debut for Trento, while Kaziyski was named MVP. The game ended among the long applause of everyone in the gym.

I am confident somebody will come in and help this club for the city of Piacenza and the people of Piacenza. It would really be a shame to lose these fans”.
Emanuele Birarelli (Energy T.I. Diatec Trentino): “We knew they would play with pride, it was evident in the second set which we almost lost on some dubious referee decisions. It’s been a competitive game right until the end. We did a good job of staying focused throughout”.
