Round 25 will be sealed on Wednesday night with the postponed game between Trento and Monza. The match could not be played this weekend as Stoytchev’s men were on European duty in the CEV Cup. They celebrated their pass for the final. They will now play back to back league games in three days, first against Monza and on Saturday night in Piacenza for the last round. Birarelli and co will be keen to regain first place, which was momentarily taken by Modena this weekend. As for Vacondio’s men, they’re out of the playoffs and can only aim to move above Piacenza, currently ninth.
