Del Monte® Boy League Final Eight
First ever for Padova
For the first time in the club history, Padova won the Del Monte® Boy League. In the event organized by the Italian Volleyball League in collaboration with Eurocamp, Padova’s Under 14 team won the final against Castellana Grotte, the defending champion. En route to the final eight, Padova disposed of Cantù and Monza in the first phase before snatching first place in the group stage in Cesenatico, but only just, thanks to a better set difference on Castellana Grotte, an opponent they’d meet again in the final after beating Ravenna in the semi-finals thanks to a top quality performance.
