At the end of a long battle in the trenches, Ravenna comes away with a 3-2 victory in Liberec. Important win against the Czech team that gets the Italian one step closer to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup. Kantor left Koumentakis in the stands, as he’s not fit yet, while Riccardo Goi was among the 12 but with his track-suit on.

Stefano Margutti (Sport Director CMC Ravenna): “It’s been a really tough game, Liberec made it hard for us with many first-time spikes. They were extremely motivated and organized, while we had ups and downs, so it’s all been hard work to grind out this victory. We have to be satisfied because it’s been a difficult but deserved victory. I want to underline the performance of Bari and McKibbin, they came on in the final part of the game and did extremely well”.
