Italian League hand in hand with AIL
On June 21, there will be the 9th edition of the national day for the fight against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma, promoted by AIL, placed under the patronage of the President of the Republic and permanently established last May 22 by the Cabinet. The Day will be the opportunity to highlight the progress of scientific research and to be close to the adults and children who suffer from Hematology diseases with meetings and awareness initiatives.
For the sixth consecutive year, the main event of the day will be “Dreaming Ithaca”, a sail boat trip on the Adriatic See from Trieste to Taranto, which began on June 8 and will end on June 20. The aim of this initiative is to promote sailing as a therapeutic method for the psychological rehabilitation and improvement of the quality of life of the patients.
