The first part of the season 2006/2007 of Serie A2 TIM ended in the best possible way for Castellana that, thankd to the losses of Crema and Santa Croce flies at the top of the standing and become leader of champioinshp.
In the first set Mater goes ahead 20-13 but then Isernia showed a big reaction and at the end the set is closed in Castellana favour only with the score of 33-31.
In the second set is Isernia that take the advantage and goes 13-16. But Mater recovers and reaches 23-23. Mater wins also the second set with the score of 25-23.
In the third set Isernia is able to play better and keep the calm even when the referees made too many mistakes. At the end they close the set 25-22.
In the fourth set Castellana goes ahead 20-13. Also this time there is a kind of black-out for Mater and Isernia is able to get close in the score by reaching 22-20. But this time Castellana closes the set 25-22 and wins the match.
