Goran Maric (Altotevere San Giustino): “I am honored to be elected the MVP of the match, but the most important thing to me is that we won it. We had a hard time in the third set, our level of play dropped while this game was like a last chance for them. They played hard and made it difficult for our reception. But we still managed to take maximum points, which is an important results for the playoffs”.

Nicola Pesaresi (Marmi Lanza Verona): “In terms of character, we did everything we could, we played with determination, but to be honest we struggled in just about every area of the game and could not keep up with San Giustino. We played better in the third set, we made fewer mistakes, we stayed close and indeed it finished 32-34. We Showed all our will to turn things around, but that was not enough”.
