It’s been tougher than expected for Cuneo at home against the Polish side of Rzeszow, who was eager to take revenge on the 3-0 defeat conceded last week. The Pols were without captain Akhrem and Nowakowski, both injured. Thanks to this win, Piazza’s boys consolidated the top spot in the group and will only need one more point to be mathematically through to the next phase.
