The board of directors of the Italian Volleyball Serie A met this morning in Bologna to examine the requests from clubs to give up on their sports right and give them to other teams.
The requests being granted are the following:
Serie A1:
From Umbria Volley to Volley Club Altotevere Umbro
From Gabeca Pallavolo to G.S. Robur Angelo Costa Ravenna
From Copra Volley Piacenza to Copra Elior Piacenza
Serie A2:
From ASD Pallavolo Matera to Pallavolo Matera
From Lupi Pallavolo to Ssd Pallavolo Atripalda
The clubs that are buying the sports rights will now have until Thursday June 14 at noon to hand in all the paper work to register for the 2012-13 championships.
