PLAYOFF FORMULA
Twelve teams will take part in the new formula of the playoffs. The teams are divided into 4 groups. The top four of the regular season will host the mini tournaments between the three teams of the group. The semi-finals will put face to face the winner of Group A and D, and the winners of Group B and C.
Here are the groups:
Group A: 1 – 8 – 12
Group B: 2 – 7 – 11
Group C: 3 – 6 – 10
Group D: 4 – 5 – 9
The semi-finals will be played on the best of three games, while the final will be played in one single game, the V-Day Sustenium.
Padova has been relegated into the A2, together with Ravenna, while Verona and San Giustino managed to stay up and therefore qualified for the playoffs.

The quarter-finals will be played from April 7 to April 9, the semi-finals from April 12 to April 18, and the Final on April 22.

Team to qualify for the Challenge Cup 2012/2013
FORMULA
The four teams that will finish second in of the quarter-final groups will play the semi-finals to qualify for the Challenge Cup. If the second of one group is already qualified for the Champions League, it will be substituted by the third of the same group.
