Trentino and Macerata are through to the playoffs 6, in which they’ll be up against each other. A derby between Macerata and Cuneo meant an Italian team would be forced out and at the end of a battle that lasted 3 hours, Cuneo had to surrender at the Golden set, having previously lost the return leg at the tie-break.
As for Trentino, it made the double against the Belgium side of Maaseik (3-1, 3-0).
