Verona had the better of Ravenna, which will have to wait further for its first victory of the season. Kromm was outstanding and was named MVP of the game, but Gasparini, Zingel and Popp all had good performances.
Bruno Bagnoli (coach Marmi Lanza Verona): “This was a very difficult game and we are happy with the three points. Ravenna will fight until the end to stay up, it was not easy to win here. We are an excellent group and we are taking advantage of Zingel’s improvement, Gasparini’s form and the good work of our two German players”.
Stefano Mengozzi (CMC Ravenna): “We lacked a little something in the middle of sets, we took fire at the end but it was not enough to win them”.
