ACQUA PARADISO MONZA BRIANZA: Pesenti, Krumins, Forni 9, Molteni 7, Buti 6, Rooney 12, Travica 2, Gavotto 12, Exiga (L). DNP Cetrullo, Rauwerdink, Zito, Shumov. Coach. Monti.

CASA MODENA: Manià (L), Kooistra 15, Mossa De Rezende 3, Dennis 15, Berezhko 2, Kooy, Creus Larry 10, Casoli 5, Diaz 5. DNP Ciabattini, Fabroni, Casadei, Piscopo. Coach. Bagnoli.

Monza’s playoffs run ends in game 5. Monti’s team was defeated in straight set by Modena, which showed more fighting spirit and was more balanced in the distribution. Bagnoli’s team even came back from a 5-point deficit in the second set. Bruninho MVP.

Marco Molteni (Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza): “We have approached this game differently compared to the last one, we tried but it didn’t work out. We’re disappointed with the second set, we made little mistakes that we might have been able to avoid and which damaged our chances. I feel really disappointed, these are chances you have once in a lifetime of which you should take advantage. It’s a real shame”.

Sebastian Creus (Casa Modena): “We came here to win and we did it. I think the second set was key, we wanted the victory at all cost and taking that second set made things a lot easier. Now, we’ll prepare for Trento: we know it’s going to be a difficult challenge, but after that I think we can make it”.
