Roberto Piazza (coach Sisley Treviso): “At times I am really in awe when I see the heart with which the team plays and the fact that they never give up. Trailing 1-0 tonight, and 7-12 in the second, we managed to come back from a very tricky situation, tactically too. That is thanks to the spirit of the squad, and Samuel Papi who did absolutely everything and more to help us win the game”.

Samuele Papi (Sisley Treviso): “We did well tonight, we played as a team and never put our heads down when Rzeszow seemed to be able to control things in the second set. We played focused, especially in dig and at the net. We might have been able to do better in the fourth, but that’ll do. Two games to go for the cup, we believe in our chances”.

Dante Boninfante (Sisley Treviso): “We haven’t reached our target yet, there are still two games to play and it will be very tough. It won’t be an easy mission, but tonight we showed for the umpteenth time cohesion and will to win, which should be the basics with which we should face every single game until the end of the season”.

Ljubomir Travica (coach Asseco Resovia Rzeszow): “I think, when you look at what the two teams showed on court in the two games, that this match-up could have been the real final of the Cev Cup. Tonight, we made some silly mistakes and Treviso punished us. Congratulations to them, which did well to take advantage of them”.
