Modena was generous but just couldn’t cope with Trentino. The league leaders had no trouble to overcome the latest challenge offered by Bagnoli’s team. This is the 18th win running for the group of Stoytchev.
Emanuele Birarelli (Itas Diatec Trentino): “We had a good game, without any big mistakes. Modena started off well but we did a good job of containing them and not letting them too much hopes. The difference was probably the serve because when you have a player like Juantorena, on his day, he makes it difficult for anyone”.
Daniele Bagnoli (Casa Modena): “Juantorena was the key factor of the game but we have to say mea culpa because when we had opportunities we did not take advantage, which made it easier for Trento and which they surely did not need. I’ve seen the boys tense, I have to understand how much will they have to get better”.
