Treviso won 3-0 in Forli on Saturday’s game. Just like against Monza and Perugia, Forli gifted away the first set, in which it was 23-18 and 24-21 up. Ricardo, who was voted MVP, eventually made the difference with his run of serves. More serves meant Forli lost the third set, from Fei this time with two aces at 21 all. Treviso confirms it is going through a good spell, with his mind set on the playoffs.
Piero Molducci (Yoga Forlì): “We just threw away the first set, and that’s a shame. We had prepared the game well, with particular attention to their pipes and serves. Then, on court, we did not manage to put into practice what we had done during the week”.
Alessandro Fei (Sisley Treviso): “We had our difficulties, especially in the first set, but we did a good job of taking that set and the game. I’d say we deserve the three points. Let’s go ahead and think about the playoffs”.
