Latina and Roma had no choice but win and they did the job in the playoff semi final game 2. Bassano and Gioia’s enthusiasm came to a halt as both series are now on level terms. Latina reacted with an outstanding performance from its attack: Giombini and Rosalba were the ones to stand out. Bassano did not manage to repeat their performance of game 1 at the net and on the serve. The deciding game 3 will be played in Schio because Bassano’s gym will not be available.

60 km up north, Roma immited their neighbours from Roma with a 3-1 victory over Gioia del Colle. Simone Spescha was well on his way back, as he combined with Osvaldo Hernandez. However, the key factor is that they limited the opposite outside hitter Dias. This was Latina and Roma’s first win over their respective opponent this season and what a nice time to get it: that keeps the door of the A1 wide open.

Game 3 will be played on Sunday 3 April at 6pm.
